Upon running setup for Office 2007, the installer kept closing. To proceed with the install:  1. rename the following registry keys (if they exist): - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0 - HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Office\12.0

2. rerun setup.
